BAUHAUS FANS AND COLLECTORS: WE WANT YOU!
In 2019, the world will celebrate the centenary of the legendary #Bauhaus #movement. For this reason, the official Bauhaus Association is preparing a print magazine that deals with the Bauhaus and modernism in all its facets.
For the first issue, we are currently looking for international collectors of Bauhaus design. If you want to be part of our magazine, please sent us a digital photo of you in front/on top/beside/under your favorit Bauhaus piece. For our project, the collector is as important as the art work itself.
We have only three requirements for the photo: Please do a spontaneous snapshot instead of a professional studio production; please use the flashlight even during daylight, and please use your smartphone (IPhone 5 and newer or Samsung phones starting with 2014). Unfortunately we can’t accept analogue photos nor SLR pics (single lens reflex camera).
We are looking forward to seeing your very personal piece of Bauhaus art!

Bauhaus Poster

This poster was created for a book about the history of graphic design. The theme was art museums around the world, and they were paired with a style that originated in the same city as its location. This poster shows the Bauhaus Archiv in Berlin, Germany, where the Bauhaus movement began. The grid is tilted, and only geometric shapes and primary colors were used, in true Bauhaus fashion.
